The precise fit of the later wax object is also determined by the processing of the wax. Therefore we ask you to ensure that the wax is clean and not to mix the waxes. Please only work with clean modelling instruments. Black instrument tips mean that excessive temperatures were used. Consequentially, the wax is overheated and destroyed chemically.

The more the wax is overheated, the more it will contract. This will have a negative effect on the precise fit of the objects (inadequate fit of crowns and bridges after casting). Therefore we recommend to melt and apply only small wax quantities.
