Optivest® avanti

Reach your goal two hours faster with the completely new, phosphate-bonded CoCr investment compound Optivest avanti! 

What was considered to be impossible a short time ago, allows you to save 2 hours of working time now: Unlike conventional CoCr investment compounds a new mould consisting of our new, rapid-heating investment compound Optivest avanti can be placed directly into the preheated furnace at 900 °C without any risk!

Saving 2 hours

If a recommended preheating temperature of 1000 °C is assumed for our CoCr alloy Biosil, the use of Optivest avanti will result in saving two hours of working time compared to the conventional heating method (see chart). The precision of fit of the CoCr object will not be affected at all so that the manufacturing process for the denture can be reduced by 2 hours.

Further aspects of saving

From the aspect of economics Optivest avanti provides further significant advantages such as saving of energy during preheating and extension of the service life of your furnace.

Additionally, Optivest avanti exhibits a fine-grain consistency so that it is difficult to tell the difference of the surface quality of a duplicate model from a master model produced from a modelling material.

The pleasant yellow color offers a perfect contrast to the modelling materials and thus ensures non-tiring and time-saving working with modelling waxes.

This is how it is done:

Please use the special liquid in a ratio of 100 g : 20 ml for mixing Optivest avanti. Depending on the type of alloy that is used the concentration of the special liquid for the investing compound model and the coating should be 45 - 55 %. After a hardening time of 30 minutes and a drying time of 30 minutes at approx. 150 °C you can start modelling. Let the mould resp. the coating dry for 15 minutes before it is placed directly into the preheating furnace and heat up to the desired final temperature after a short holding time of 15 minutes. When the final temperature - recommended by the manufacturer of the alloy - has been reached, wait for 45 minutes before casting is carried out.
