In the laboratory stirring of modelling materials, investment compounds and duplicating materials ranks among the most frequently performed mechanical working processes and essentially contributes to the successful fabrication of dentures in your laboratory. The development of the Multivac compact was accompanied by a large number of different tests. In these tests considerable emphasis was put on the influence of the stirring process on the corresponding properties of investment compounds and modelling materials. Accordingly, a completely new stirring and evacuating unit has been developed which will also convince you since it can be operated extremely easily.

Operation

Two independent units ensure top performance when it comes to evacuating and stirring of investment compounds and modelling materials. The microprocessor control coordinates both functions in order to ensure the optimum product characteristics from the corresponding investment compound or modelling material. The integrated vacuum pump is oil-free and thus maintenance-free and meets modern technical requirements. The Multivac compact unit allows fully automatic control of the entire stirring process so that manual premixing is not required. A total number of ten different stirring programs is available and can be simply started by pressing the program keys. The LC-display informs you which program has been selected and shows you the respective operating state. A sufficiently high vacuum during the stirring process has considerable influence on the condition of the surface of master models and castings. If unexpected malfunctions should occur, e.g. insufficient vacuum, the Multivac compact displays the error and an acoustic warning signal can be heard.
Additionally, the Multivac compact features a self-test which can be started to check the vacuum system. The vacuum in the mixing bowl is directly generated with the cover to omit an additional suction hose. Accordingly, the actual vacuum level is measured directly in the mixing bowl so that incorrect values are excluded. The cover and the stirring mechanism feature and allow the further use of mixing bowls of previous models.
The Multivac compact will couple the stirring mechanism in the drive shaft for you since during lifting of the bowl support the drive will be switched on automatically for a short period.

The mixing programs

Ten programs have already been prestored. Installed mixing programs contribute to achieve reproduceable and constant mixing processes in your laboratory. Of course, the programs can be changed to meet your individual requirements. At the end of a mixing program an acoustic signal can be heard and the mixing bowl is aired automatically. Mixing time, speed, direction of rotation and vacuum level of a mixing program can be changed individually. An optional Windows PC-program is available to create own stirring programs more easily or to adapt new program versions.
