Degutwin® is an intracoronal precision attachment that is distinguished from conventional T-attachments by the useful geometric arrangement of the finely adjustable activation device outside the area of the lamellae. This guarantees that the lamellae of the male unit lie fully flat on the walls of the female unit during activation, with optimal pressure distribution and no sticking effect. The forces reacting through the prosthesis are reduced by the male unit’s elastic design and therefore cannot deform the male parts adhering to the female unit with a friction fit.
