extraTec® mini is a finely adjustable extracoronal attachment with a basally activated and easily replaced friction sheath made of an intraorally stable resin that offers excellent long-term retention. The special position and shape of the activating screw allows continuous control of the friction force, resulting in excellent shape properties. The choice of male materials for the extraTec® mini attachment is between: • HSL-KE16, made of a cast-to alloy • Burn-out resin The functional component is fabricated from the respective casting alloy used. The female component is made of Degulor alloy and can be joined to the secondary structure adhesively or by soldering.
