The micro-Degutek® APS is an intracoronal precision attachment that differs from conventional T-shaped attachment in its unconventional geometrical arrangement of the finely adjustable activation mechanisms outside the friction body. This ensures a close parallel fit of the lamella of the male part to the walls of the female part during activation, optimizing force distribution without clamping. Two attachments for segmented bridges with the same female geometry are also available, namely mini Degutek® active (conditionally activated) and mini Degutek® passive for prospective planning purposes.
